What to Know: Hotel Workspaces at NOAH

NOAH offers hotel work spaces for certain positions and individuals. To use one of these hotel spaces, please follow these easy, step-by-step instructions to reserve a workspace.

Getting Started at Hotel Workspaces

  • NOAH has 21 hotel desk spaces.
  • There are also 2 hotel enclosed office spaces.
  • Everyone – no exceptions – must reserve their hotel space in Outlook in advance.
  • The process for reserving a hotel workspace is the same for desk and office space.
  • Any equipment: monitors, power cords, etc. belong to that hotel space and may not be removed.
  • If you bring anything with you: own keyboard, mouse, food, water bottle, etc. please take it with you when you leave.
  • If your plans change, please make sure you cancel your time slot.

Reserve a Hotel Workspace

Reserving a NOAH Hotel Workspace is similar to scheduling a meeting with another NOAH team member. If you aren’t familiar with that process, instructions are below.

  1. Open your Outlook desktop app and click on the Calendar icon at the bottom left.
  2. Schedule the hotel space like you would schedule any appointment in Outlook – either by clicking “New Appointment” in the top left, or by selecting the time on your calendar for the appointment.
  3. Select “Invite Attendees“, then either select “Address Book” or “Required” to schedule the hotel workspace.
  4. Type in “NOAH Hotel Space” and select from 1 – 21 (or multiples for more options).
  5. Then, to ensure availability, check the “Scheduling Assistant” at the top of the calendar invite.
  6. Then send the invitation to the NOAH Hotel Space that works for your schedule!
  7. You can also add the hotel calendars to your “My Calendars” list if you regularly use a hotel workspace.
    • Go to “My Calendars” and right click.
    • Then select “Add Calendar” and pick “From Address Book“.
    • Search for “NOAH Hotel Space” (followed by the #) and add it to your regular calendars!

Hotel Workspace calendars are set-up by numbers please pay close attention to the numbers as that is the cubical you will use when you come in. If you have any questions, please email Kelly Basurto or Vickie Mclain.
