Identifying Potential Conflicts

Did you know that NOAH has a Conflict of Interest policy?

What is a Conflict of Interest?

A Conflict of Interest may arise when an employee or NOAH board member is connected in some way with another employee, vendor or organization that NOAH conducts business with. It’s important that financial decision are made without consideration for personal gain and are always made with NOAH’s best interest in mind. Refer to our Conflict of Interest Policy for more information.

Do you think you may have a Conflict of Interest?

If so, it’s important that you disclose any real or apparent conflicts of interest in writing to your leader and Human Resources. All potential conflicts of interest are reviewed so that the best next steps can be taken. This usually means you won’t be involved with any decision making for which the conflict arises. For example, if your brother is a sales representative for one of the uniform vendors we’re considering, we probably won’t involve you in that decision.

Is it ok for my relatives to work at NOAH?

Absolutely! Relatives are welcome to work together at NOAH. Refer to our Employment of Relatives and Other Relationships policy for all the details. What’s important is that relatives do not report to one another and do not make any decisions about their performance management, compensation, or hiring decisions. It’s important that all relationships are disclosed in writing to Human Resources so that we can ensure that we are always complying with our policies.

If you have questions or need to disclose a potential Conflict or Interest or Employment of a Relative, please reach out to NoahHR@Honorhealth.com.
