Employee Spotlights

Shining a bright light on some of NOAH’s stars. These team members were highlighted by their colleagues in the past month.

Guadalupe Valadez, Registration/Scheduler at Palomino Health Center
Submitted by: Candi De La Cruz

I assisted a mother today whose two children were approved for AHCCCS, but their primary care provider (PCP) was in Mesa, which was too far for them to travel. I offered to help her change the PCP to Dr. Deborah Bauer at Palomino, and she agreed so she could take her children for well-child checks.

Since I wasn’t entirely sure how to schedule them correctly, I reached out to Guadalupe for assistance, and she was more than willing to help! She guided me through the scheduling process, and we successfully added two new patients for Dr. Bauer’s well-child checks in August.

Thank you, Guadalupe, for always being so helpful and for putting our patients first! This is what “One Team” means to me!

Sergio Ledesma, Workplace & Public Safety Specialist at Copperwood Health Center
Submitted by: Sharlene Hanlon

Sergio has gone above and beyond to keep our clinic sites clean during our janitorial transition. He does everything with a smile and a “can do” attitude. Nothing is ever not his job and greets patients and families in a welcoming manner. Thanks to Sergio for everything he does!

Oneida Castaneda, Community Health Worker at Copperwood Health Center
Submitted by: Mariza Lara

Oneida has gone above and beyond the scope of her job description. She has been assisting as a Registration/Scheduler for the past several months, has worked long hours at times and has done a great job all while still keeping up with her CHW tasks. Thank you, Oneida for demonstrating Stronger Together. We appreciate you!

Beatrice Rivas, Registration/Scheduler at Venado Valley Health Center
Submitted by: Mariza Lara

Beatrice demonstrated kindness and professionalism while checking in a deaf-mute patient. She took the time to use her phone to dictate the questions she needed to ask to have her annual consents signed. Our patient felt respected and thankful for the kind gesture. Thank you, Beatrice for always demonstrating Stronger Together!

Stephanie Dutey, Medical Assistant at Desert Mission Health Center

Stephanie, thank you for taking initiative to help our team wherever it is needed. You maintain a positive attitude and willing to learn and take on new tasks to support our team. You work efficiently and often deliver great work along with bringing new ideas to the table. You set the example of what it means to be ONE TEAM! We appreciate you!

Ken Browder, Workplace & Public Safety Specialist at Venado Valley Health Center
Submitted by: Venado Valley Team

Ken always has a contagious smile that brightens the day. He’s constantly helping everyone with anything and always staying busy. He ensures that the staff is okay and that patients feel welcomed. Ken is the most outgoing person I’ve known and exemplifies what it means to be a true team member.

Ken is a very selfless person, always making sure the clinic, patients, and his coworkers are taken care of, comfortable, and safe. In the short amount of time that I’ve known Ken, he has proven to be a thoughtful and kind soul. He goes out of his way to greet all the patients as they arrive, keeps our facility tidy, and is just an all-around great person.

Thank you for everything you do, Ken! We appreciate you. It has been such an honor to work with you. You are truly a great asset to the Venado team, and we appreciate your hard work daily as you go above and beyond for both patients and staff.
