The second NOAHfest Carnival and Health Fair, held at the Cholla Health Center on Saturday, March 2, was a huge success, drawing in 450 community members!
The carnival offered free and fun entertainment for the whole family, with inflatable and tabletop games, face painting, crafts, and giveaways throughout the entirety of the morning. The carnival also featured health care screenings from NOAH medical and specialty services teams for participants to visit and learn more information about.
During the event, NOAH Team members saw
- Blood Pressure/Glucose Screenings: 53
- Vision Screenings: 35
- Dental Screenings: 69
- Patients Scheduled for Medical follow ups: 2
- New Medical Patients: 6 (additional 5 pending eligibility through Community Resources).
- Patients Scheduled: 9
- New Dental Patients: 2
