Keeping blood pressure numbers in a normal range is important for your health — and for the health of those you care about. Everyone should know their blood pressure numbers and self-measure regularly. Which is why NOAH is proud to offer the American Heart Association’s Check. Change. Control three-month program to all staff starting February 1!
Check. Change. Control. is an evidence-based hypertension management program that utilizes blood pressure self-monitoring to empower participants to take ownership of their cardiovascular health. The first step is to start regularly checking your own blood pressure readings at home, or at a non-medical site. Beginning in February, a blood pressure cuff will be available to employees in the Zen Room at Dreamy Draw to encourage regular self-measurement.
The first four participants that enroll in the Challenge will receive their own blood pressure monitor, and all Check. Change. Control. participants will receive weekly emails that will educate them about blood pressure management, as well as access to challenges that reinforce healthy behavior changes.
Knowing your blood pressure numbers and managing this condition is one of the best things you can do for your heart health. Sign up for the challenge below.
