Stroller Delivery with the Suzy Foundation

NOAH is fortunate to have a team of dedicated and hardworking members who came together to make a profound impact on one of our patients.

It all began when a dedicated mother walked into NOAH’s Palomino health center, carrying her 10-year-old child in her arms, seeking help. This family was in dire need, and our team, along with several incredible partners, stepped up to make a difference.

With a medical condition affecting this little girl’s ability to walk on her own, a specialized stroller was essential for her mobility. The team at Palomino immediately recognized the urgency of the situation and took the initiative to find a solution for this family. After a few calls, the Palomino team was connected with the Suzy Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with special needs with the cost of equipment not covered by insurance. They offered to fund the stroller and worked diligently with the patient and family to ensure they would receive the appropriate equipment. In collaboration with Numotion, a mobility equipment supplier in Phoenix, NOAH and the Suzy Foundation worked with the family to build a custom stroller that was just the right fit!

The entire process required persistence and patience, as it took time to piece everything together. On June 24, our patient received her stroller in a special presentation at Palomino Health Center! A smile says a thousand words and we are truly grateful to have been part of such an amazing gift.

“Stronger together. This was possible because we worked and believed in each other, including the Suzy Foundation. It’s a reminder of the importance of building alliances when we know we can’t do it all.”
