We are excited to announce the migration of prescription medication for patients who participate in our Sliding Fee Scale Program (NOAH’s Discount Program) to NOAH’s Pharmacy.
Previously, prescriptions for discounted (340B) medications have been filled by various Walgreen’s locations. Due to 340B regulations and the closure of some Walgreen’s locations*, certain medications** will now be offered at the discounted rate exclusively at NOAH’s pharmacy.
Patients who participate in NOAH’s Sliding Fee Scale Program and wish to continue to receive their medication at the discounted rate now have the option to pick-up their medication at NOAH’s Cholla Pharmacy or have it delivered to Desert Mission or Palomino health center’s for pick-up.
To ensure accurate and timely service for our patients, effective immediately, please begin using the following workflow:
For New Medications
- Provider/MA selects NOAH’s Cholla Pharmacy as patient’s preferred pharmacy (regardless of pick-up location).
- If patient selects Desert Mission Health Center as their pick-up location
- The provider/MA will need to add smart phrase “.SA269DMRX” under note to pharmacy. The provider/MA will then enter an “Ambulatory Referral to Population Health” and indicates in the comment section “Desert Mission New Medication Start.” This will trigger a Nurse Navigator to reach out to the patient to answer any questions regarding the new medication.
- Prescriptions ordered prior to 3pm will be available for pick-up at Desert Mission the next business day. Prescriptions ordered after 3pm will be available for pick-up at Desert Mission in two business days.
- If patient selects Cholla Health Center as their pick-up location
- Medication will be ready as soon as the same day.
- If patient selects Palomino Health Center as their pick-up location
- The provider/MA will need to add smart phrase “.SA269RX” under note to pharmacy. The provider/MA will then enter an “Ambulatory Referral to Population Health” and indicates in the comment section “Palomino New Medication Start.” This will trigger a Nurse Navigator to reach out to the patient to answer any questions regarding the new medication.
- Prescriptions ordered prior to 3pm will be available for pick-up at Palomino the next business day. Prescriptions ordered after 3pm will be available for pick-up at Palomino in two business days.
- Pharmacy will accept scripts on or after March 14 before 3pm for Palomino.
- For all pick-up locations, patients can call the pharmacy at 480-903-3560 to check the status of their order.

For Existing Prescriptions
- Patients can call NOAH’s Pharmacy at 480-903-3560 and request a prescription transfer. Patients must notify the pharmacy if they would like to have their medication delivered to Desert Mission or Palomino Health Center.
