Team NOAH was in full-force last week at the City of Scottsdale’s Vista del Camino Center Back to School event. The event bring commercial businesses, government agencies, and community organizations together to provide essential school supplies, backpacks, clothing, and shoes to income-eligible, Scottsdale-based students, kindergarten through 12th grade.
NOAH has been a long-time participant in this one-day event providing no-cost dental screenings, nutrition information, and community resources support. NOAH staff interacted with hundreds of participants which included 264 dental screenings, distribution of over 300 smile bags, Community Resources information provided to approximately 260 families, and over 250 interactions featuring budget-friendly family recipes and nutrition tips.
