When it comes to kindness, compassion, and caring for others, nurses have us all beat. Between the tiny important tasks that help to keep us healthy, to the nurses in hospitals who work arduously every day for patients in critical care. While it can seem like a daunting job at times, something happens every once in awhile to remind us of the inspiring work nurses play in delivering the highest level of care to their patients.
Hannah Gammage, a nurse practitioner at Midtown Health Center previously worked as a NICU nurse. During her time in the NICU, Hannah had a patient that gave birth to a 2lb. 4 oz. baby at only 28 weeks. As a result, he was in the NICU for 3 to 4 months.
This patient and her son recently tracked Hannah down just to establish care with her at NOAH and are excited for him to have access to both dental and medical services. He is now six years old and thriving!
Thank you to Hannah and each of our NOAH care providers that continue to provide quality, compassionate care for our patients each and every day!
