Cool Stuff for Kids

Children are our future and NOAH is proud to support healthy living and learning for kids throughout Maricopa County. If you haven’t received it already, cool stuff for kids will be arriving soon at each health center!

Here’s the Scoop:

Books! Read All About It!

All health centers recently received a supply of books in English, Spanish, and bilingual options geared toward children ages two and up. These books were donated by Molina Healthcare to encourage literacy for children who are NOAH patients. Kids seeing a medical provider and any accompanying siblings are eligible to receive a book.

Practice Administrators, Managers, or Medical Office Managers will determine how to best execute this program (storage, distribution, etc.) based on the needs of each health center.

Books will be re-stocked by Community Resources on a regular basis, however, if your health center is running low (less than 50 books) please notify crmanagement@noahhelps.org to ensure another supply of books is on the way.

NOAH’s Desert Friends

Our favorite desert dwellers are back in stock at a NOAH health center near you! Every clinic recently received a supply of Stick Puppets, Coloring Books, and Wikki Stix Crafts! These items are meant to engage and entertain kiddos who have an appointment or are accompanying a loved one. You are welcome to use and distribute these items as needed for all service lines.

The purchase of these items was funded in part through the Arizona Lottery Gives Back program. Additional quantities will be purchased as needed through other funding sources.

The marketing team looks forward to hearing any feedback you have on how these items are received and enjoyed by patients. For comments or questions reach out to mwooden@noahhelps.org.

Grow With Me Books

These parental resources geared toward caring for children ages 0-5 and 6-12 are available in both English and Spanish and now readily available in every NOAH Health Center. The books provide valuable information on growth, development, screening and vaccination schedules, dental tips, and more. Please distribute these guides to parents and caregivers as you see fit.

This supply of books was funded in part through the Arizona Lottery Gives Back program. A revised version of this resource is currently under development to encompass ages 0-12 in one bilingual publication. Please reach out to mwooden@noahhelps.org for comment, questions, or additional books.
