NOAH launched the Nurse Triage line earlier in 2021 to meet the need for patient access to care. As the team of nurses began working with new and existing patients it was clear the Pop Health department was onto something big with the Nurse Triage service. Starting Sunday, November 7, Nurse Triage will be available to patients 7 days a week!
Monday – Friday
7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday
8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
How Does Nurse Triage Work
When someone calls NOAH – either a new or existing patient – and talks to the PEC about their health concerns, they may be able to schedule an in-person appointment, a telehealth appointment, or they may opt to talk to a nurse right then to understand more about their symptoms.
The Nurse Triage team can talk with individuals about:
- General illness (COVID, flu, respiratory, etc.)
- Worsening conditions or symptoms
- Pediatric illness
- Adult and pediatric injuries
- Vaccine questions (pediatric, COVID, etc.)
The Nurse Triage team will assist patients with an urgent need or help reassure them of their next steps, whether it is to monitor their health at home, schedule them directly with a NOAH medical provider, or connect patients with other resources if needed.
The Nurse Triage service is free and has helped more than 2,500 patients since launching in August.
