Many youth around the world are facing mental health concerns. Research shows when they feel seen, heard and validated, they are more likely to trust someone to help them. During the month of August, let’s explore ways to help them access resources and get the support they may need.
During this time, our Employee Assistance Program provider, Optum, is focusing on providing participants with valuable insights and practical strategies by holding one-hour training sessions (or on-demand options) for fostering understanding and supporting neurodivergent individuals, particularly family and friends.
Participants will:
- Gain insights into neurodivergent perspectives and needs
- Learn effective communication strategies
- Discover practical tips for creating a supportive environment
- Explore different approaches to building meaningful relationships with neurodivergent family and friends
