Veyo Patient Transportation Update

July MTM Facility Portal Update

On July 22, 2024, NOAH will begin using the new MTM Link Facility Portal for online scheduling and monitoring of member trips. This enhanced portal will continue to be a convenient, time efficient way to schedule, view, and manage trips for your patients. With the new MTM Link Facility Portal, there is improved visibility and efficiency, allowing the user to schedule and monitor trips in real time. What does this mean for you?

Facility users will now be able to schedule trips for: Banner, Mercy Care, Molina, United Health Care, Health Choice, WellCare, Care 1st, AllWell, Arizona Complete Health, and Centene health plans.

Starting Thursday, July 18, MTM will hold virtual town halls every Thursday through August 8 to explain how to use the new MTM Link Facility Portal. Please contact Crystal Medina for the meeting invite.

Trip Time Enhancements

As of June 7, options have been updated for selecting a trip time to and from the facilities. Time Selector now shows three options: Now, Later, and Will call.

  • Now: This feature is for the first-leg only and is used when the member needs immediate pickup. It will look for a provider and show the scheduled pick-up time, which is the trip submission time plus the AZ Health Plan requirement. For example, an 11:15 a.m. trip was submitted + 45 minutes AZ Plan Provider requirement = 12:00 p.m. pickup.
  • Later (also known as Arrive By): This is for rides that are booked at least 60 minutes ahead of time. Users cannot choose a time that has already passed.
  • Will call: Users can choose ‘Will call’ for legs except leg A. If leg A is immediate, users will use the ‘Now’ trip time feature.

When a user clicks ‘Now’ for intake, it’ll set the time to the nearest 15-minute mark. On June 7, this will be fixed so that when you hit ‘Submit,’ the trip time will be recorded without rounding back.

As of April 1, 2024, support for the Veyo RideView scheduling platform was discontinued. Medical Transportation Management Inc. (MTM) purchased Veyo in 2022 which led to these changes. The new MTM scheduling platform allows access to schedule insurance pay rides for the following plans:

  • Arizona Complete Health
  • Allele by Arizona Complete Health
  • Banner University Family Care
  • Banner University Family Care ALTCS
  • Magellan/Molina Arizona
  • Mercy Care Advantage (Medicare)
  • Mercy Care RHBA

Uber Health

For SFS, uninsured, and underinsured patients (transportation paid for by NOAH), NOAH began a partnership with Uber Health! As of April 1, NOAH’s account pay rides are now managed through the Uber Health scheduling platform.

Please note, the Uber Health scheduling platform does not trigger rides over $50. For any rides costing $50 or more, please contact your supervisor for approval.
