Congratulations to NOAH’s Partners in Prevention HIV Nurse Navigator, Andrea Leuser, on achieving her HIV/AIDS Certified Registered Nurse certification!
The HIV/AIDS Certified Registered Nurse (ACRN) certification certifies that an individual has the experience and knowledge to work with patients with HIV and AIDS. Nurses with this certification are able to address the physical, emotional and psychosocial issues of HIV and AIDS patients.
In order to be eligible for this certification, individuals must have an active nursing license, complete required curriculum through self-paced online learning modules, and have at least two years of clinical experience in clinical practice, management, education, or research relating to HIV/AIDS.
