Nurses Week – You Make a Difference

Celebrate our NOAH Nurses during Nurses Week! Get to know the different types of nurses at NOAH and the amazing work they do.

RN Care Coordinators

RN Care Coordinators help educate patients and families in understanding primary chronic disease management and health promotion efforts. NOAH Nurses, in-person or telehealth, work with patients and families to understand the importance of lifestyle changes to manage their diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, or high cholesterol. Along with MA Care Coordinators, NOAH Nurses help patients complete screenings like mammograms and colorectal cancer screenings.

RN Triage Nurse

NOAH has dedicated RN’s managing our triage phone line for new and existing patients. This line offers immediate health advice with high-quality care protocols. They are a kind and helpful voice guiding patients to appropriate care. Triage nursing requires a high-level of critical thinking, attention to details, and communication skills.

Advanced Practice – Nurse Practitioner

A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) that has completed either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). An essential part of the NOAH team, NPs are providers working alongside Medical Providers (MD’s, DO’s and PA’s).  Often focused on whole person care, an NP’s training emphasizes improved health and disease prevention.

Quality Improvement

NOAH trusts Quality Improvement nurses for knowledge, guidance, experience, and leadership in managing our Quality Improvement and Regulatory Requirements program. This includes Infection Prevention Program, Employee Health Program, State Licensure Requirements and partnering with the NOAH Risk Program Manager to balance ensuring NOAH meets all State and Federal requirements while providing safe and patient centered care.

This week we celebrate our NOAH nurses for their commitment serving our patients and community.
