OCHIN Disaster Recovery Failover April 24–25

Please be advised that OCHIN will be conducting a scheduled Disaster Recovery (DR) Failover on the following dates and times:

  • Thursday, April 24, 10 p.m. (PT) through Friday, April 25, 11:59 p.m.

Who is Affected? 

  • All OCHIN Epic Users 

Required Action for Staff

  • All Epic users MUST login with their OCHIN AD username [new username, not numbers] and password to access the DR Portal and Epic Production beginning at 11 p.m. on Thursday, April 24 and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 25. 

What does this mean for NOAH?

  • We will conduct operations as normal; the only difference will be that the portal.ochin.info will be redirected to this disaster recovery site: https://dr.ochin.info. Remote users will continue to use their https://remote.ochin.info portal and login workflow as normal. 

Staff MUST log into the disaster recovery site and Epic using their new usernames [first portion of the @community-health.org]. The numbers will not work and will result in not being able to log into Epic during this failover test.

Key Impacts During the 24-Hour Testing Period: 

  • File Transfers between OCHIN and TriZetto will be delayed. Files will not be moved on Friday, April 25. No Financial data will be lost. All files will be processed normally at the end of the testing period. This will impact the following transactions: 
    • Claims 
    • Statements 
    • Claim Status Responses 
    • Remittances 
  • PTP third-party integrations are expected to remain operational [Imprivata, Lab and Imaging interface, etc.].
