As we conclude this year’s participation in the Arizona Heat Relief Program, we are proud to reflect on the tremendous impact we’ve made together. Throughout the program, NOAH distributed over 11,000 bottles of water to those in need. This includes more than 1,800 bottles and cans of water handed out in May, approximately 2,200 in June, 2,400 in July, 2,300 in August, and 2,300 in September. With extreme heat still affecting vulnerable community members, we will continue distributing water until our supplies are depleted.
Our hydration stations across all NOAH locations, in collaboration with the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) and many other dedicated organizations, have been a critical lifeline during the scorching summer months. This effort is part of the Heat Relief Network, a coordinated initiative by nonprofits, faith-based groups, and businesses, all working to reduce heat-related illnesses and fatalities in our community. Our hydration stations not only provided much-needed water but also served as access points for connecting people with NOAH’s health services and support.
Special thanks go to our Support Services team (formerly the Workplace and Public Safety team) and our front desk staff, who ensured the smooth operation of this life-saving initiative. Support Services facilitated the procurement of 19 pallets of water, generously donated by community partners at no cost to NOAH.
We look forward to continuing our work together to promote community wellness, safety, and health in the future. Thank you for being a vital part of this important effort!
