Stickers are awesome! They’re a fun way to express yourself and make the world a colorful place, but they don’t belong on everything, especially on any NOAH-owned equipment.
In case you’re wondering, here are a few good reasons:
- Voids the warranty on the equipment
- Difficult to remove often leaving scratches on the surface – the adhesive from the sticker may leave a sticky residue on the laptop. This residue can be hard to remove and doing so may cause damage to the laptop’s surface.
- Security risk – people could associate content with what is stored on your device.
- Can affect device performance and ventilation – sticker adhesive can attract dust, dirt and grime, which could affect the laptop’s performance and potentially shorten its lifespan.
- Looks unprofessional/messy
If you need to identify your device from others, you may use a plastic-coated label from a label maker (i.e. P-Touch).
