This August, we focus on keeping our communities healthy. National Immunization Awareness Month is all about making sure everyone gets vaccinated to prevent illnesses and stay safe. Let’s learn about why vaccines are important and clear up any misunderstandings. Together, we can protect ourselves and others!
Did you know for NOAH employees:
- The vaccinations required for employment are MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Covid, and an annual Flu vaccine.
- NOAH provides required immunizations to our employees at no charge at any of our NOAH clinics. Reach out to your supervisor or leadership to schedule a vaccination. Protecting our NOAH employees against vaccine preventable diseases from day one of employment to beyond is important in improving the health and well-being of our employees.
- If you need an exemption for any vaccine, speak with your supervisor or leadership to determine next steps.
Why are they required?
Due to the increased risk of exposure to a various number of diseases in a healthcare setting, it is highly recommended for all healthcare personnel to receive vaccinations to protect you and protect others.
