Notice of Upcoming Changes to OCHIN Epic Login

OCHIN is migrating its current Disaster Recovery (DR) data center to an Epic-hosted DR environment to enhance the reliability and security of the platform and better ensure we can access the system during downtime events. To complete this migration, Epic users will no longer be allowed to use anonymous Epic logins for your personal accounts (e.g., Username: 1234) and will be required to transition to Active Directory login using your @community-health.org username.

Switching to Active Directory credentials simplifies and strengthens the authentication process, ensuring that all users can securely and reliably access the DR systems if needed.

When is this changing?

  • Starting Monday, February 17, NOAH IT will be piloting this change with a group of users from each department. Following the Pilot, a transition schedule will be determined and distributed to each NOAH Department/Location over the next six weeks.
  • All migration must be completed by March 31.
  • Beginning April 1, you will use your community-health.org credentials to access OCHIN Epic. Current login credentials will no longer be valid after this change.

What does this mean for you?

  • After the Active Directory migration is complete, NOAH employees will be required to use their community-health.org credentials to log into the Epic platform for their personal Epic accounts.
  • Note: Once your personal account is migrated to Active Directory, you will no longer be able to use your Epic anonymous login.

How to log in after the migration

  • NOAH employees will log into all Hyperdrive environments using their community-health credentials. For example, enter “LastNameFirstInitial” instead of your Epic user ID (e.g., 1234). You do not need to add “@community-health.org” to your login.
