This pilot program was launched in partnership with the Arizona Alliance for Community Health Centers last May and was created to fast-track the certification of medical assistants through online classes and on-site training.
Program participants and their preceptors have worked hard to complete this fast-paced training on top of their usual job responsibilities.
NOAH hopes to start training the next round of students in the spring.
Participants celebrated the completion of the AHEAD AZ program with lunch at Aunt Chilada’s last week.
