Workplace & Public Safety will be holding an active shooter drill at Dreamy Draw on March 29 from 12 – 1 p.m. All Dreamy Draw-based employees are encouraged to attend.
The drill will consist of a simulated active shooter situation with plastic dummy guns. No live gun shots will be integrated into this scenario. Lunch will be provided. Please notify Joe of any dietary restrictions you may have.
Participants are prohibited from bringing any weapons (simulated or real). No physical contact between employees and subjects will be permitted. Any “fight” based actions will be verbal demonstration of the tactics only.
We understand that our employees have different life experiences. Employees who prefer to be exempt from attending the drill should talk with their leaders. For employees attending the drill, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) resources will be available as part of the debriefing process.
