New Policies and Procedures

• Policy HR. 1391: Employment of Current or Former Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Patients
  NOAH strives to minimize conflicts of interest that could arise when current or former Behavioral Health or Psychiatric patients become employees, ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are in place to support both patients and providers.
• Policy A. 130: Training and Education Policy
  This policy ensures all individuals acting on NOAH’s behalf, including Board members, employees, and volunteers, are familiar with the Compliance Program through comprehensive education and training.
• Policy G. 105: Board Member Screening
  Establishes a screening process to identify any potential or current Board members with criminal convictions or exclusions from federal or state healthcare programs.
• Policy A. 103: Patients Arriving Late to Appointments/Late Cancellations/No Shows Policy
  Outlines parameters for late arrivals, late cancellations, and missed appointments to ensure all patients have access to timely care.

  NOAH provides healthcare services to employees and their family members, maintaining policies that prioritize patient privacy and ethical standards.
• Policy HS. 112: Use of External Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools
  Guides the responsible and ethical use of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) tools within NOAH’s operations.
• Policy HP. 111: Right to Request Amendment
  Ensures patients understand their right to access and request amendments to their health records.
• Policy C. 130: Chart Closure Policy
  Promotes improved patient care through timely documentation and accurate posting of charges.
• Policy A. 128: Referral Tracking Policy
  Establishes clear processes for documenting, authorizing, and tracking referrals generated by NOAH’s Licensed Independent Practitioners.
