How do I know which plan I’m participating in?

If you have a billable encounter expectation for 2025, you are classified as a provider and will be eligible for the Provider Incentive Plan. If you’re not sure which incentive plan you qualify for, please discuss with your leader.

 

How much is the incentive?
The incentive amount varies by position. All staff are eligible for a minimum incentive of $1,500. You can check with your leader to find out the incentive amount for your specific position. 

 

Is the incentive amount prorated for mid-year hires?

Employees hired prior to July 1, 2025, are eligible to receive full payout. Employees hired between July 2 and October 1 are eligible to receive 50% of payout. Employees hired October 2, 2025, or later will not be eligible for payout of the 2025 annual incentive.

 

If someone changes positions or FTE mid-year, how do we calculate?

Incentive will be pro-rated based on the amount of time employed at each level.

 

Will FMLA affect payout?

Anyone employed during the incentive period and at the time of payout is eligible to receive the payout regardless of FMLA status, however, payment will not be released until the first pay period after returning to work from leave.

 

Are employees who are on a performance improvement plan eligible to receive the incentive?

No. Employees who were on a written performance improvement plan at any point during the year are not eligible for incentive.

 

Why do providers have to meet a higher operating margin?

Providers are eligible to receive a separate quarterly incentive in 2025, regardless of operating margin. For the additional provider incentive, we need to reach a higher operating margin to meet the budgeted 3% after incentives are paid out.

 

How often will data be presented or where can I access this information to see how we are doing? 

Monthly updates will be tracked via an Incentive Dashboard on The Beat. It takes a few weeks to close out each month and collect data so you can expect to see updates late in the month for the previous month. For example, January metrics likely won’t post until late February.

 

When will we know if we achieved the incentive?

As soon as metrics for the year are finalized, likely in mid to late January, the incentive status will be announced in The Beat.

 

When will the incentive be paid out?

Incentives will be included in payroll for the pay period following the incentive achievement announcement, likely in February.

 

What were the final numbers for each metric in 2024?

Final 2024 numbers from our UDS report are still pending but will be reflected in the February dashboard.
