Pride Events Matter

Pride festivals and parades give hope to LGBTQ+ youth, are empowering, and can contribute to changing hearts and minds. According to the Trevor Project 2022 National Survey 45% of LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning/Queer) youth have seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year due to being mistreated and/or the stigma in their community.

Phoenix Pride Festival raises positive awareness of the Phoenix metropolitan LGBTQ+ community.
