Don’t Forget Infection Control Measures In Clinics

NOAH Clinical staff reminder we are following CDC guidance on universal use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This includes the use of eye protection with all patients in the clinics.

The CDC guidance, “Eye protection (i.e., goggles or a face shield that covers the front and sides of the face) should be worn during all patient care encounters.” This includes direct contact with patients less than 6 feet apart.

Exception – You don’t need eye protection if there is plexiglass on the counter. If you feel the plexiglass does not give enough protection, please wear googles or facemask.

Any questions please reference the CDC website at regarding infection control recommendations.
